Varosliget
At the far end of Andrássy út, Heroes’ Square (Hősök tere) acts as a gateway to this park and the various sights therein. Besides the winding paths and green hills, you can also find such sights as a large artificial lake that doubles as a skating rink in the winter, the Budapest Zoo, Hungary’s best-known thermal baths, or the whimsical, 19th century edifice of Vajdahunyad Castle.
